Pop of Colour

Hi there youthfuls!

Welcome to my first Lookbook post. I hope the versatility and comfort of this look inspires you to adapt it to create your own!

Never underestimate the power of a crisp white-anything. Be it a collared shirt, a pair of palazzos or a shift dress, white is definitely the trick to looking chic, sophisticated and effortless at the same time. I’m in love with this off the shoulder Cara pom-pom tunic I recently purchased from Shop Brett Robson (She is an absolute girl boss-just saying!). The off the shoulder trend has been a hit this summer and rightfully so! Who doesn’t love a little 80’s style inspiration? As seen here with a off-the-shoulder twist on a normal sleeved garment.

Another trend which has taken off this season is pom-pom everything! I swear guys, the pom-pom life chose me. From bags to scarves to earrings to sandals, pom-poms simply take things from being cute to oh so cute. I adore the multi-coloured pom-poms bordering the bottom of this dress, the pop of colour makes all the difference.

Speaking of pop of colour, another thing I am obsessed with is mirror work detailing. I recently picked up this drawstring bag from Accessorize, and anything that adds an Indian/Bohemian touch to my look is a winner for me. The fine embroidery and attention to detail on each sequin, tassel and bead on this bag equals nothing but love.

Pairing dresses together with sneakers gives a girly look a little badass edge, and not to mention that the comfort and versatility of these Stan Smiths makes them a definite wardrobe staple!
